About TILTY
TILTY is The Temple's youth group or TYG which is an
active participant in NFTY (North American Federation
of Temple Youth). We attend regional events
and host events and social action projects of our own.
We encourage involvement from 7th and 8th graders
in our JYG or Junior Youth Group. TILTY holds JYG
events throughout the year. As incoming freshman
and other high schoolers, a teenager joins TILTY
and can attend even more events including at the
regional level. TILTY is run by a board of high
schoolers and a youth group advisor(s), just like
the regional board.
We plan interesting and interactive events and
projects throughout the year. We do everything
from lock-ins at Temple, with a letter writing
campaign and movies, to pool parties, bowling,
rock climbing and other fun events.
To join TILTY there is a NFTY regional fee of $17.
