Contributions to these funds in the amount of ten dollars or more will be acknowledged with a card and published in the bulletin. Contributions for yahrzeits of five dollars or more will be published in The Temple Bulletin. These can be made by phone or by mail. BUILDING MAINTENANCE FUND: To maintain and improve The Temple building and grounds above and beyond the regular maintenance and upkeep.

 

WALLER CHAPEL FUND: To maintain and improve the Waller Chapel.

 

ENDOWMENT FUND: The proceeds of this fund help assure The Temple's Capital Fund for generations to come.

 

ALBERT AND BETTY HESS G.U.C.I SCHOLARSHIP CAMP FUND: To be used to send children of members to Goldman Union Camp Institute (GUCI) the Union of American Hebrew Congregation's (UAHC) Regional Camp in Zionsville, Indiana.

 

MIMI EISEMAN TEMPLE YOUTH GROUP MERIT CAMP FUND: Used to send Temple Youth Group leadership person to OFTY-TUTE, a week of leadership training at GUCI.

 

PRAYERBOOK FUND: To purchase Prayer books.

 

GINGER AND MARTIN LEWIS MEMORIAL LECTURE FUND: To bring outstanding speakers to The Temple for the benefit of the congregation and the community at large.

 

FREDA AND ALLAN SHAPERO MEMORIAL FUND: "Funding The Temple's Israel Future Fund" To help provide for high school students to study in Israel.

 

JANET AND JOSEPH MYERSON PERFORMING ARTS FUND: To bring performing artists to The Temple.

 

JULIA AND ISADORE KLEIN TEMPLE BEAUTIFICATION FUND: Provides funding to be used to enhance the beauty of The Temple grounds by supplementing funding for planting flowers and greenery.

 

MANUEL AND EVELYN WEINBERG YOUTH EDUCATION FUND: Providing special educational needs for young people in the congregation and community at large.

 

SAMUEL H. KLEIN AND HATTIE BROHM KLEIN MEMORIAL FUND: "Funding The Temple's Israel Future Fund". To help provide for high school students to study in Israel.

 

TEMPLE TRAGER EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION FUND: Enables the preschool to purchase special equipment and educational materials as needed.

 

GENERAL BUDGET: Supports the general operations of The Temple.

 

BROTHERHOOD TRANSPORTATION FUND: To provide transportation for the aged and/or handicapped members of the congregation to attend religious services 

 

WRJ EQUIPMENT FUND: To purchase supplies for the kitchen such as china, glassware, and flatware.

 

ESTHER AND SAM FISHMAN LIBRARY FUND: To purchase books and periodicals for The Temple library.

 

CHESTER B. DIAMOND RELIGIOUS SCHOOL EDUCATION FUND: To enable the Religious Education Committee to provide special programming above and beyond regularly budgeted expenditures.

 

RABBIS' DISCRETIONARY FUNDS: Allows each individual Rabbi to make charitable contributions to causes of their own choosing.

 

MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger: The Temple encourages voluntary contributions on the occasion of lifecycle events and whenever banquets are held in the amount of 3% of the total food costs.

 

THE MEYER YOUTH CULTURAL PROGRAMMING FUND: It's purpose is to provide Jewish cultural content for Jewish teens.

 

LOUIS, EVELYN & MARKHAM LEVY AUDIO AND VISUAL ARTS FUND: Enables the congregation to obtain audio and visual material and software to supplement our library and archives.

 

JEFF SHANKMAN YOUTH GROUP LEADERSHIP FUND: A scholarship to pay for The Temple Youth Group to attend NIFTY Convention.

 

LOUIS SHANKMAN "Kutz Camp" SCHOLARSHIP FUND: A scholarship for a student to attend the UAHC Kutz Camp or other youth leadership program.

 

WRJ SERVICE TO THE BLIND: A National Sisterhood Fund which provides services and materials for the blind. Also supports local programs.

 

WRJ ALTAR FLOWER FUND: To provide flowers for the pulpit on Shabbat and holidays.
